We had the first leg of the reunion last night, and it was a lot of fun. Some people showed up already three sheets to the wind, so that was a good show. It was good to catch up, dance, laugh, and see that some things never change. I confessed to someone some of the stupid stuff I did when I had a crush on him in 8th grade (no, I won't say what or who). I got some reaffirmation of why I didn't/don't hang with certain people, but also was pleasantly surprised at how nice some people are now that I didn't like so much then. One of the girls that used to be a very shy horse lover is now a tatooed Harley chick, and one of the nerds is a successful (and not bad-looking) attorney. My, how the times have changed. I'm at work today, so I can't go to the zoo (2nd leg and something to include kids - and there are TONS of them), but I'll be at the dinner tonight. That should be fun, too.
